Pumpkin Spice Muffins

A little muffin recipe I made up:
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup cake flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp kosher salt
1 cup pumpkin (from the can)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup butter
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp molasses
Topping
1/2 cup quick oats
1 tbsp flour
1/4 ground cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped almonds (or pecans)
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp cold butter

Combine flour, soda, powder, salt and spices in a bowl.  In the bowl you'll be mixing from add the butter and sugar until combined, add the egg and vanilla and molasses, then the pumpkin and whip until mixed.  Add dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.
For the topping add all ingredients except butter and stir and then with a fork - add about 1/2 tbsp on bottom of each muffin liner, fill batter about 3/4 full and then mash the butter into the topping mixture and distribute remaining topping mixture on top of muffins.
Bake 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes - everyone's oven varies =)
