Dangling Charms, camp craft

Maybe I will let the 1st-3rd years make charms for their purses/scripture bags/backpacks and the YCL's can make key chains since they're driving (or soon). The 4th years typically don't make crafts because of their big hike requirement.
I scanned my new purse so I could get the color match for my tile pendant on the computer. I put the image on both sides so when it's flipped over, you can still see the cuteness. I covered the sides of the tile with ribbon & I used a bead as a bail and then an eye pin through it.

What are a few good sayings I could use on the tiles - like 1-4 words? And don't say 'Team Jacob' - LoL I'm thinking of having images or sayings for the girls to pick from once at camp.

Hanging Wooden Spool Decoration

The Visiting Teaching message in February is the Divine Roles of Women and I really wanted to create something crafty and cute with some wooden spools:
I designed a message to 'tie' into using wooden spools:
It says 'Women wind their attributes of charity, love, compassion & kindness around others'.
Here is what the whole thing looks like:

I added 4 spools to represent the 4 different attributes.

Baby Kissing Balls

I gave my other one away, so I made a few that match my tree colors better - these are baby ones - Jonathan doesn't like it as much =(

I will probably make a bigger one again, but not put it on my tree - just hang it from the ceiling somewhere - I promise not to post that one as there are too many posts for kissing balls as it is . . . an obvious favorite activity ;)

Kissing Ball Ornament

This is the ornament I'm going to give away tonight.  The theme is . . .'these are a few of my favorite things' . . .and by the way, does every ward this year have the same theme in December - is there a web site out there that all the Enrichment Leaders are brainstorming ideas from?

I love flowers and ribbon and crafting.  Look how I hid the knot up where it hangs from, I took apart a flower pedal and hot glued the knot inside the pedals and then the pedals to each other - it looks like a bud now (sorta hard to see).
I made this from a styrofoam ball, painted it gold (because I was using gold with the pink flowers) and cut pedals off a huge floral stem, added tiny gold balls and ribbon.  I will make a few more for my tree now =)  Mostly because if I didn't buy extra supplies already, I wouldn't be able to give this away - what is up with that?  I need to be more charitable I suppose - hehe

Candlesticks

I bought these Shabby Chick candlesticks on Craigslist (surprise, surprise ;) haha
And I painted them & added beads, ribbon and spheres on top:

Took a long time and many coats of paint!
Can see the detail up closer. I used metallic paint and 2-toned a few decorative parts to accent them. Fun project =)
