New Camera

I got a new camera for Christmas, now it's all about figuring out the functions - like for fast moving objects ;) Look close - it's a hummingbird trying to eat the silk flowers on my Christmas wreath (time to put away the decorations) today!

Then I shot a picture of Cannella:

and then the cat because it was sleeping with both its arms outstretched (so cute) . . . on the once folded laundry:

and then tried to get a picture of the big eagle that nests on Tolt Hill Road, but it wasn't around. We did spot a juvenile eagle - it was so massive in size:

So my sister Stacy won't be surprised that I took a photo of 'wildlife' for my first day playing with my new camera - hehe

Fry Guy

We were in Oak Harbor this weekend visiting my sister and her family. We watched baseball games on Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.

This is Brady after using the blanket to just shield his already sunburned arms from the sun, obviously got tired and decided to nap:

He reminded me of McDonald's Fry Guy with his sneakers sticking out!

Kittens & Cannella

We got kittens, kept the name Ninja for the black kitten and named the other one Samari. They play with Cannella very well, but Ninja plays the best with her. These are Cannella's rope toys, but I think the kitties were sleeping on them so if they weren't playing with them then neither could the dog ;) They do have a bed . . . and they do like to sleep in Cannella's bed too!

Here is Cannella, all sad because she's not potty trained like the kittens. The kitties have free roam of the house while Cannella is banned to the non-carpeted areas, so Cannella just watches the kittens and whines =( She really has been a ton of fun!
We just can't wait for Cannella to be consistent with her potty places!

Someone got a puppy!

Meet Cannella - yup, we got a puppy! So cuteness and playful:

Her name means cinnamon (which is a good description of her coloring) in Italian - Jonathan came up with that =) We will probably call her Ella for short.
