Cocoa on a stick

homemade marshmallows (cut with a flower cookie cutter):

Made half doggie cookies and half: 

to bring to the cookie exchange.

I layered 2 pieces of cocoa fudge with cinnamon and 1 piece of marshmallow on a caramel apple stick and swirled it around in red hots finely chopped:

bagged it up:

then made a chocolate spoon to go with:

put both the stick and the spoon in a disposable hot beverage cup with a label on the cup

For the cocoa recipe and I added the mixture to my piping bag and then piped it into silicone molds and they popped right out - loved how easy this was!

Hot Cocoa Anyone?

I made up a recipe for homemade Hot Cocoa:

Melt together over stovetop:

     7 cups milk

     1 cup heavy cream

     6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl and add to milk mixture once chocolate has melted completely:

     1 cup powdered sugar

     1/2 cup cocoa

     1/2 Tbsp cinnamon

Added a bit of mini marshmallows and it was SUPER yum!
