Tomatillo Salsa - Yum!
Baked a flour tortilla in a fun little pan, lightly buttered it after baking and sprinkled it with cinnamon and sugar. Two scoops of ice cream, homemade hot fudge sauce, strawberries, sprinkles and homemade whipped cream - yum!
We were supposed to have family over and they had to cancel at the last minute . . . but all the preparation was done - so I had to show what they missed to get them to reschedule ;)

Wire Wrapped Utensils

A daughter of a friend of mine got engaged, so I beaded some utensils for her shower:

The wire isn't perfectly shaped . . . but hopefully it's just considered handcrafted and overlooked ;) hehe

Glue the rocks with E6000 glue, let dry overnight and wrap with 3 feet of wire. I've seen these done with flat marbles and beads too, but smoothed pebbles is what I had on hand - plus I didn't know what her fav color or kitchen colors will be. Now they'll match anything - definitely an earthy look.

Staying Over in a snow cave

Would you sleep in this if you were first standing on top of it and then saw this entrance?

Not for me ;)

But the scouts did this as a group and had a blast . . . aside from freezing!

Eagle

I got a zoom lens for Valentine's so the first thing I wanted to take a photo of was an eagle, funny, huh? hehe So I drove to Carnation.

The adult eagle's wouldn't land, so I had to settle for taking a photo of a juvenile sitting in a tree . . . with a branch in the way of a really great photo, but I still like it:

These birds are so massive, easy to spot right away from a distance . . . just look at its beak!

cupcake papers

There are a ton of templates for making your own cupcakes templates on the web - I took a photo of Brady's basketball team and used this FREE template. This was a last minute idea, but it turned out okay - and really if I would have spent more time on it, would the boys have cared? ;) Probably not!

I made 14 of these for the team and their coaches:
I used a basketball mold and melted orange candy melts . . . and added rum flavoring - they turned out SO yummy. So I added rum flavoring to my frosting too - it was a hit! Another tip, I also add a box of cheesecake pudding to my cake mixes - makes it yummier =)
